Gonzalez not Running for Reelection in Newark
At-Large Councilman Carlos Gonzalez announced today on Facebook that he does not intend to pursue reelection this year in the Brick City.
My dear friends and constituents.
I have decided not to seek reelection to the Newark Municipal Council. Time has come to retire and enjoy the fruits of our long years of labor.
I had a very rewarding experience being your representative at the City of Newark Municipal Council.
One of my trusted aides, Josephine Garcia, has decided to run for one of the four council person at-large positions. She has my total and unconditional support and trust that you would support her too.
