GOP Unanimously Reelected Senate Leader

During today’s Senate Republican Caucus meeting, Senator Anthony M. Bucco (R-25) was unanimously reelected as the Republican Leader for the 2026-2027 Legislative Session.

“I’m honored that my colleagues have again placed their trust in me to lead the Senate Republican Caucus,” said Sen. Bucco. “Our caucus is made up of dedicated public servants who care deeply about making New Jersey more affordable, safer, and stronger for every family. I look forward to working with the Governor-elect in the upcoming legislative session, having a seat at the table, and continuing to fight for a New Jersey we can all be proud of. Together, we’ll continue to be a steady, solutions-focused voice in Trenton, holding the line on taxes, standing up for common-sense policies, and delivering results that make a real difference in people’s lives.”

Leader Bucco also announced the Senate Republican leadership team for the 222nd Legislature, which begins in January:
