Neither. Choose someone with education bonafides. Kean did that when he chose Saul Cooperman. There are people out there who know schools and can balance competing interest groups in service to evidence based best practices to guide curriculum, instruction, and assessment, and finding cooperatives and regional school districts as the way forward to fiscal improvements.
