Incumbent Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench won reelection tonight, defeating a come-backing Dan Hayes.

Moench, a Republican, held off his bitter rival Hayes, whom he defeated four years ago in a Republican primary.

Hayes ran against Moench this year as a Democrat, but couldn’t get the job done.
