Murphy: “Monmouth is personal for me, it’s my backyard” – Helps Wilton raises 50k in Freeholder Kickoff
Hundreds gathered Tuesday night in Middletown to support the campaign kickoff for Lake Como Mayor Brian Wilton, running for Monmouth County Freeholder. Wilton is running with Ocean Township physician Dr. Margie Donlon. They are squaring off against veteran Freeholder Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto. Impreveduto is taking the spot of Freeholder Gary Rich, who is not seeking re-election.
Monmouth resident Phil Murphy – the Democratic front-runner for governor – told attendees he plans to be very aggressive up and down the ticket in his home county of Monmouth. The Wilton campaign raised over $50,000 tonight.
