Post-Comey Memo, Booker Says Republicans Must Hold Trump Accountable

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement in response to reports President Trump urged the FBI Director to end his investigation into Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn:

This must be a wake-up call for congressional Republicans to begin holding Trump accountable, to put country first, and to act immediately in a bipartisan fashion to get to the bottom of this.”
