Amatorio Lauds Bergenfield’s Top 10 Safety Rankings, Promotes Community Policing Initiatives
BERGENFIELD, NJ — Long regarded as a great place to live and raise a family, Bergenfield has received national attention in recent months for being named as a top 10 safe community in the entire United States of America, by two separate online publications. Last month, the borough was ranked fourth safest in the U.S. by neighborhoodscout, and in January was ranked 10th safest by safewise.
Both publications cited the low crime rates in the Borough, something Councilman Arvin Amatorio is focused on continuing for years. “I am raising my family here because Bergenfield is a wonderful community with recreational and educational opportunities complimented by hardworking, community-focused police officers who support the community,” said Councilman Amatorio. “Over the next four years, I want to continue and expand our policies of community policing, where the officers patrolling our streets come from here, and can relate to our racially diverse residents.”
Arvin Amatorio is a Managing partner of a law firm that specializes in Immigration Law, helping people come to our country to live the American Dream. He and his family are active parishioners at St John’s Church in Bergenfield. As a Councilman, he has organized annual free outreach events, health fairs, and immigration seminars for the community.
