Race Still Considered “Toss-Up”

MARLTON NJ — Today, the Andy Kim for Congress campaign announced its total raised for the months of July, August, and September: nearly $2.3 million. This is the most raised by any candidate for Congress seeking to represent New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District.

“It’s clear this district is ready for a change,” said Andy Kim. “I’m proud that more than ninety-two percent of all donations to our campaign were small-donor donations. Strong grassroots support has built this campaign, and it is why we continue to gain momentum in this race. I’m running to represent the people of this community — not corporate special interests — and this level of grassroots support demonstrates that voters are ready for a Representative that puts them first.”

The race to unseat health care repeal author Congressman Tom MacArthur has been declared a “toss-up” by Monmouth and Cook Political Report. FiveThirtyEight has called this race a “tilting point.”
