Assembly Budget Panel to Hold First Public Hearing for NJ Residents, Local Organizations to Weigh-in on State Spending Plan

 

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee will hold the first of two public hearings in the State House Wednesday to receive testimony from residents on the Fiscal Year 2020 State Budget:

Anyone wishing to testify may register online at https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/BudgetReg_DB/default.asp  or call the Legislative Budget and Finance Office at (609) 847-3105 to register by phone.  Written testimony can also be submitted; participants are asked to provide 20 copies on the day of the hearing.

The Assembly Budget Committee will receive testimony from individual departments of state government and the presentations of state revenues by the Office of Legislative Services and the New Jersey Treasurer following public hearings.
