Assembly Panels to Consider Measures Thursday Protecting Consumers from Credit Card Surcharges, Establishing Personal Vehicle Sharing Program
Assembly Housing Panel to Host Hearing on Affordable Housing Obligations at 2 p.m.
(TRENTON) – Legislation prohibiting credit card surcharges greater than the cost of the seller to process a payment, and a bill creating State guidelines for a personal vehicle sharing program are among measures to be considered Thursday by Assembly committees.
The Assembly Housing Committee will receive testimony from invited guests and members of the public concerning municipal responsibilities to provide a fair share of the regional need for affordable housing, and the calculation of that need for the fourth round of Mount Laurel housing obligations, to begin in 2025. The committee will meet at 2 p.m. in Committee Room 9, 3rd Floor, State House Annex, Trenton, NJ.

- Assembly Health, Committee Room 11.

The Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee will meet in Committee Room 13 at 2 P.M.
