Assemblymen Kevin Rooney and Christopher DePhillips File for Re-Election in LD40

Rooney and DePhillips seek second term in General Assembly

Trenton, NJ – Assemblyman Kevin J. Rooney (R-Bergen County) and Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips (R-Bergen County) filed their nominating petitions for reelection today. With the backing of party County Chairmen in Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Passaic Counties, Assemblymen Rooney and DePhillips are focused on uniting the Republican Party in June to defeat the tax-and-spend Trenton Democrats in November.

“Chris and I are humbled to receive unanimous support from the Republican organizations in our district,” said Assemblyman Rooney. “Serving in the Legislature is a true honor and I look forward to continuing the fight for all the residents of New Jersey.”

“I am truly grateful to have the support of the County Chairmen in our district and to be running alongside Kevin once again,” said Assemblyman DePhillips. “I look forward to engaging voters in our district about the critical issues facing our state and working to enact policies to make the state more affordable for our residents.”
