ATLANTIC COUNTY DEMOCRATS TO HOLD 44th ANNUAL CONVENTION

(Absecon) Later this month, the Atlantic County Democratic Committee will hold its 44th Annual Atlantic County Democratic Convention at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

“Since 1975, Atlantic County Democrats have gathered in the spring of each year to hold the longest-running continuous nominating convention in the State of New Jersey,” said Atlantic County Democratic Chairman Michael Suleiman. “The theme of this year’s Convention is ‘A Sustainable Future,’ and that’s a great slogan for both our environment and our county organization.”

WHO: Members of the Atlantic County Democratic Committee, Democratic elected officials, municipal chairs, candidates, and activists.

WHAT: The 44th Annual Atlantic County Democratic Convention. The theme of this year’s Convention is “A Sustainable Future.”

WHERE: Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, Marina District, Atlantic City, New Jersey

WHEN: Sunday, March 24, 2019. Lunch is from 1 to 2 p.m. and the program is 2 to 5 p.m.

Prospective candidates wishing to seek the endorsement of the Convention must send a letter of intent no later than Sunday, March 17 to info@atlanticdemocrats.com, notifying the Chairman on what position he or she is running for and which delegate will nominate him or her. More information about the letter of intent may be found in the Convention rules, which were adopted by the Atlantic County Democratic Committee on January 14.
