Bergen County Community Leaders Endorse Valerie Vainieri Huttle for State Senate

We proudly and publicly support Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle’s candidacy for State Senate in District 37.

As individuals, we support Assemblywoman Vainieri Huttle. As community leaders, we have seen firsthand the incredible impact of the Assemblywoman’s work in the legislature.

Together, we represent a coalition of women who have worked to improve access to services in the district from advancing resources for sexual assault survivors, to improving opportunities for mentorship and civic engagement, to advocating for our children and seniors, Valerie has been at the forefront fighting with us since day one.

As District 37’s Assemblywoman, Valerie Vainieri Huttle has always been ready to listen and to act. Valerie has fought tirelessly for increased funding for sexual violence resource centers, like Healing Space, she has fought back against budget cuts for educational resources, like The Zone, and she has fought to secure services and support for seniors. Valerie has also led efforts to ensure that children with disabilities have access to quality education and support services, such as the Reed Academy. Assemblywoman Vainieri Huttle has also championed legislation to reduce food insecurity, prevent homelessness and increase access to addiction and mental health services.  We need her in the fights to come.

Valerie is a true public servant, she uses her voice and her platform to improve the lives of her constituents.

As leaders in Bergen County, we greatly value the work of Assemblywoman Vainieri Huttle, we know that as State Senator, she will continue to fight for policies and initiatives that will empower and uplift our communities.
