HACKETTSTOWN, N.J., June 19, 2019—Centenary University has contracted with Sodexo to provide campus-wide dining services in its dining hall and retail locations, as well as catering for special events on campus. Based in Maryland, Sodexo North America is a food and facilities management company committed to improving quality of life at more than 13,000 client sites including businesses, healthcare institutions, government agencies, and educational institutions in North American and Canada.

“High quality dining is integral to the college experience, and is important in attracting, engaging, and retaining students,” said Kerry Mullins, vice president of student life and dean of students.  “Here at Centenary, Sodexo will elevate the student dining experience, with delicious food, healthy choices, more allergen-friendly options, and engaging special events.”

Sodexo is committed to educating students with offers that support academic performance through proper nutrition. Sodexo’s campus dining experience integrates technology to maximize student convenience, while incorporating sustainable practices that emphasize local sourcing and minimize food waste.

“We’re excited to create a customized, food forward campus dining experience for Cyclones infused with new menus, fun, variety and convenience,” said Ray Encarnacion, senior district manager, universities, Sodexo North America. “We’re looking forward to working with Centenary to bring our shared vision to life, offering more dining options for the community and positively impacting student success for years to come.”
