Trenton, NJ – ChargEVC on behalf of diverse stakeholders promoting robust electric vehicle adoption in New Jersey is “Electrifying State Street” in Trenton with Ride-and-Drive opportunities for elected officials, as well as Commissioners and senior staffers from the Murphy Administration on Monday October 15th from 10am-3pm.

Vehicles will include a variety of electric cars currently on the market for driving opportunity, as well as the chance to view a Proterra electric bus and BYD electric refuse truck.

Electric vehicles are a key part of Governor Murphy’s plans to keep the state on a path to 100 percent clean energy by 2050, including 330,000 electric cars by 2025.  Motor vehicles currently produce roughly one-half of the pollutants that affect the environment and human health.
