CIANJ Unveils Bold New Look for Commerce Magazine
The Summer 2025 Edition, Redesigned in Partnership with CMA, Celebrates 43 Enterprising Women Honorees
Rochelle Park, N.J. — July 14th, 2025 — The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) today unveiled a bold, modern redesign of Commerce Magazine, launched with the July/August 2025 double issue, which celebrates the winners of the fifth annual Enterprising Women in Commerce Awards.
Developed in collaboration with CMA—a strategic marketing and design firm in East Windsor, N.J., with more than 400 industry awards—the new look and feel reflects the vibrancy, clarity and bold spirit of New Jersey’s dynamic business community—as well as the magazine’s readership.
From refreshed fonts to a refined color scheme, every design choice was made to elevate the reader experience and better reflect the energy of New Jersey’s business landscape. The new typography combines clean serif and sans-serif styles for a modern editorial feel, while the updated color palette — featuring a mix of warm neutrals, bold blues, and vibrant reds — brings the Commerce branding in line with CIANJ’s colors, creating a cohesive and connected brand identity. Together, officials say, the overall design strikes a balance between sophistication and innovation.
“While the look of Commerce is new, our mission remains unchanged,” said Anthony Russo, President of CIANJ. “We’re here to champion the voices of New Jersey’s business leaders — and this new design helps us do that with more vibrance and impact. We’re excited to usher in a new era of storytelling for our members and readers.”
The relaunch issue also marks a milestone moment: the fifth annual Enterprising Women in Commerce Awards, spotlighting 43 outstanding professionals who are transforming industries across New Jersey. These honorees represent a diverse range of sectors — from healthcare to finance to construction — and share a common thread of innovation, leadership and vision.
“Recognizing these extraordinary women in our newly designed issue is a perfect reflection of what CIANJ and Commerce are all about: celebrating business excellence and driving progress,” said Jamie Goodman, editor of Commerce Magazine. “We look forward to continuing to evolve our platform while staying true to our core values.”
Award winners will be honored at the 2025 Enterprising Women in Commerce reception on Wednesday, Aug. 13th. Presented by CIANJ and Commerce Magazine, the event will take place at the Glen Ridge Country Club in Glen Ridge, NJ.
