ETHICS TRAINING ONGOING

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – Atlantic City Mayor Frank M. Gilliam, Jr., announced that the City of Atlantic City (COAC) will be wrapping up ethics training for elected officials and employees this week. Ethics training is being held in City Council Chambers at City Hall where employees and elected officials are updated on policies and procedures.

Mayor Frank M. Gilliam, Jr. stated, “The City will always try to offer its employees additional training. Ethics is the first training piece that we are looking to implement. Additional training pieces will be rolled out as we progress through 2019 and into 2020. My administration feels that our employees are worth investing in.”

Noted as a recommendation in Special Counsel Jim Johnson’s report, Atlantic City – Building a Foundation for a Shared Prosperity, the City of Atlantic City recognizes that developing current employees into future leaders is essential to building municipal capacity.
