Commission will host series of public events throughout the State

As part of its commitment to ensuring a diverse civil service workforce, the New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) will host a series of public employment job fairs throughout the State starting this Fall. All New Jersey residents are encouraged to attend these free events, which will be held in locations in North, Central, and South Jersey. This will be an ideal opportunity to meet with state recruiters to discuss employment opportunities with public government entities and attend career workshops. The first two events are slated for the following dates:
• Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 10 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
Location: Morristown National Guard Armory (430 Western Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960)

• Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 10 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
Location: Lawrenceville National Guard Armory (151 Eggert Crossing Rd, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648)

“Diversity has become a fundamental focus in the public sector as government agencies seek a workforce which better reflects the diversity of the communities they serve,” said Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq., Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey State Civil Service Commission. “New Jersey has a well-educated and well-trained population looking for opportunities to work and support their families here, and representatives who will be at the job fair want to offer a chance to explore openings.”
