Civil Service Commission to Host Virtual Information Sessions to Reach Recent College Graduates, Rising Juniors and Seniors

TRENTON – In a continued effort to promote professional careers in New Jersey State and local government, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will host Virtual Information Sessions targeting recent college graduates and rising junior and senior college students.

Each virtual presentation will include an hour-long overview on how to apply for State and local government jobs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from CSC representatives who will be answering any questions pertaining to the application process.

The Information Sessions will be held on the following dates:
• Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
• Thursday May 13, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
• Wednesday My 19, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Tuesday May 25, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Thursday May 27, 2021, from 12 pm to 1:00 pm

“Despite the difficulties in today’s job market, there are numerous opportunities available for employment in the public sector,” said CSC Chair/Chief Executive Officer, Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq. “We encourage everyone to apply for these positions with the State of New Jersey, which is one of the largest employers in the state with an array of opportunities and benefits.”
