Civil Service Commission to Host Virtual Information Sessions for Veterans

TRENTON – The New Jersey Civil Service Commission (CSC) is continuing to host Virtual Information Sessions to promote careers in State and local government. The upcoming sessions will be geared toward the veteran community and their families and will guide them through the process of applying for State and local jobs. All New Jersey residents are encouraged to attend these free sessions.

In addition to each hour-long presentation on how to apply for State and local government jobs, resource materials will be provided, and CSC representatives will answer any questions pertaining to the application process.

Veterans Virtual Information Sessions are currently scheduled for the following dates:
• Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Monday, November 15, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
• Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

“It is important now, more than ever, to let prospective candidates know of the great offerings and benefits we have in New Jersey government,” said Deirdré L. Webster Cobb, Esq., Chair and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. “Our virtual information sessions have proven to be helpful as we guide these candidates through the processes of applying for these open positions.”
