Commissioner Ross Licitra Seeking Re-election

 

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Commissioner Ross Licitra will seek reelection to the County Board of Commissioners this November. Ross Licitra, a Republican, is currently serving his first term on the Board of County Commissioners and has worked side-by-side with his fellow commissioners on keeping government spending stable while still providing valuable services to the community.  Commissioner Licitra is the Monmouth County Parks liaison and has worked extremely close with the Monmouth County Parks System on many projects including the preservation of hundreds of additional acres within the parks. Commissioner Licitra is directly responsible for the implementation of state-of-the-art new security systems within our parks and trails to help keep our park visitors even safer.

 

Ross Licitra, a lifelong resident of Monmouth County, currently living in Marlboro Township, is a retired police officer, serving his community proudly for over 30 years, and since 2015 has led the Monmouth County S.P.C.A. as the Executive Director.

 

Licitra states: “I am extremely proud of my many years of public service. Serving as your County Commissioner for the past two years has been one of the greatest honors of my life and I will continue to always serve my community honestly and with conviction.  My sense of equality, public safety, and the overall well-being of the entire county will always be my guide.”
