Congressman Andy Kim to Hold
Three Town Halls in August

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced that he will host three town halls across Ocean and Burlington Counties in August.

“Our town halls haven’t just been opportunities for me to hear from you, they’ve been the source of ideas I’ve brought back to Washington to fight for people in our community,” said Kim. “It doesn’t matter if it’s making life more affordable for working families by lowering prescription drug costs or holding the government accountable when they’re not being transparent to our communities, I take my cues from you, and I look forward to continuing the conversation in August.”

Congressman Kim’s town hall on August 4th will be jointly held with the Toms River NAACP and the Second Baptist Church. His town hall in Lacey on August 29th will focus on issues related to the decommissioning of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant.

These will be the ninth, tenth and eleventh town halls held by Congressman Kim during the 116th Congress, and part of a monthly series to allow the Congressman to hear directly from constituents throughout New Jersey’s Third District.
