Congressman MacArthur Statement on Pittsburgh Shooting

Toms River, New Jersey—Congressman Tom MacArthur released the following statement on this morning’s shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh:

“The reports out of Pittsburgh this morning are devastating. Yet again, we have seen our fellow Americans murdered in their place of worship.  Words are not sufficient to express the sorrow and outrage that Debbie and I feel at this act of hatred.  We are praying for the entire Pittsburgh community and the Jewish community worldwide, which continues to face antisemitic violence and vitriol. We are especially praying for all our neighbors in the Jewish community in South Jersey as they observe the Sabbath today.  We stand with you against this evil.”
