RANDOLPH, NJ – Jack Sullivan, the athletic director of County College of Morris (CCM), recently received the Region XIX Ron Case Athletic Director of the Year Award at the Region XIX Fall Meeting held at the Mount Airy Resort in Mount Pocono, PA.  This prestigious award is presented annually to a Region XIX Athletic Director for their commitment and positive contributions to their campus, the region and their surrounding communities.

There are 32 colleges from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware that participate in Region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

“The recognition that Jack Sullivan received by his peers is also a testament to his continuous commitment to our CCM athletes, coaches and Titan spirit,” remarked Dr. Bette Simmons, vice president of Student Development and Enrollment Management and interim vice president of Academic Affairs. “He ensures that our student-athletes are reaching their best potential both in the classroom and in their respective sport, provides support to the coaches and exceptionally maintains our athletic facilities for the college and community to enjoy.”

Sullivan has been the athletic directory at CCM since 2002.  He oversees nine athletic teams including men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball, softball, golf and lacrosse.  Prior to joining CCM, Sullivan was the assistant athletic director at Bloomfield College. He was also the intramural director at Fairleigh Dickinson, his alma mater, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing and Masters in the Art of Teaching.
