Davis Team Holds Packed Fundraising Event, Nets Over $100K

BAYONNE, NJ — Over 300 supporters packed into the aptly-named Winners Bar and Grille to support Mayor Jimmy Davis and his team last night, resulting in a fundraising haul of more than $100,000. Supporters at the event included Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise, Assemblyman Nicholas Chiaravalloti (D-31), Assemblywoman Angela McKnight (D-31), former Senator Bernard Kenny, Hudson County Republican Chairman Jose Arango, members of the Hudson County Building Trades, representatives from the International Longshoreman’s Union and the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union, faith leaders from various local denominations and many other local well-wishers.

“Last night’s event is a testament to the forward-momentum our city is experiencing and I’m so thankful to all of the residents and supporters who came out to show their desire to keep Bayonne on the right track,” said Mayor Davis. “Four years ago our team was elected on a promise that we would be accountable only to the people of this great city, and we’ve lived that commitment every day. Now we’re running to keep Bayonne moving forward and I’m so proud of the support we’re receiving from all corners of this community.”
