TOMS RIVER, NJ – June 16, 2020 – David Richter, Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, announced today that he has received the endorsement of Sen. Robert Singer, Deputy Minority Leader of the New Jersey State Senate.

“David Richter has proven that he is the only candidate with both the experience and the capability to beat Andy Kim.  I’m proud to stand with David and I look forward to working hard with him to ensure we flip the Third District, and maybe even the entire House, back into Republican hands in November,” said Sen. Singer.

“I’d like to thank Sen. Singer for his support,” said Richter. “He has been a strong Republican  leader in the State Senate and his endorsement of my campaign gives us added momentum as we head toward the primary election,” Richter added.

Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International.  During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees.  A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District.  He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard.  Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four daughters.
