Dunellen Council President Cilento Announces Candidacy For Mayor

CILENTO, RIOS, SIGMON: DUNELLEN’S FUTURE, TOGETHER!

DUNELLEN, N.J. (March 22, 2019) – Jason Cilento, the current Republican council president of the Dunellen Borough Council, announced his candidacy for Mayor via a Facebook video on Wednesday to Dunellen residents.

Cilento will share the ticket with Dunellen Borough Council candidates Trina G. Rios and Daniel “Cole” Sigmon in the 2019 election.

“Our campaign will be about respecting Dunellen’s past while engaging its future,” Cilento said. “We look forward to getting to know more members of the community over the next several months and hope you will join us as we look to write Dunellen’s Future, Together!”

Currently serving in his third term, Cilento was elected at the age of 20 to the Dunellen Borough Council in 2010 and was unanimously appointed council president for 2019 by both his Republican and Democratic colleagues.

Rios and Sigmon have been members of the mayoral-appointed Dunellen Playground Committee since its inception in 2017.

All three candidates have received endorsement and support from the Dunellen Republican Organization.
