EAST BRUNSWICK GOP CHAIR AMIN: EAST BRUNSWICK DEMOCRATS PLANT FLAG ON GOLDEN TRIANGLE SITE

EAST BRUNSWICK DEMOCRATS PLANT FLAG ON GOLDEN TRIANGLE SITE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

East Brunswick, NJ- East Brunswick GOP Chairman Jesal Amin commented on Democratic sign placed on the Golden Triangle site.

“Democratic Councilman Jim Wendell, who voted yes to authorize development on the Golden Triangle site, has finally claimed ownership of this debacle. Wendell and his Democrat allies presented East Brunswick residents with a vision that was contradictory to the finished project, which amounts to a lie to good, hardworking taxpayers.”

Mr Amin continued, “Former Mayor Neary and the Democrats pitched Golden Triangle to residents as a smart, mixed use development similar to Pier Village in Long Branch. Golden Triangle was supposed to be mid-level development complete with room for upscale coffee shops and unique boutiques. What East Brunswick got was a ‘bill of goods,’ complete with high density development and more big box stores.”

“A vote for Democrats is a vote for more empty promises and lies.” Amin concluded, “High density development will continue and residents’ concerns will continue to fall on deaf ears. East Brunwick residents have a chance to elect a new team to finally stop bad decisions.”

Wendell and his Democrat running mates have been responsible for high-density development in East Brunswick. Because of these projects, East Brunswick residents will face unprecedented traffic issues and higher taxes. Enough is enough! Vote Republican Column B this Tuesday, November 6.
