Firm Commits Major Resources to Support New Jersey Local and State Democratic Candidates

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, DSPolitical has announced the return of its Digital Advertising Grants Program, an initiative helping Democratic campaigns reach the voters who decide elections. Now in its sixth consecutive year, the program will deliver up to $50,000 in digital advertising support to Democratic candidates running for state and municipal office in New Jersey and Virginia, two of the most closely watched battlegrounds of 2025.

Since launching the program in 2020, DSPolitical has awarded over $320,000 in in-kind ad grants, helping hundreds of down-ballot candidates nationwide build modern digital campaigns, overcome funding gaps, and reach voters wherever they stream, watch, and scroll online.

“In a year when the stakes are high in New Jersey, we’re doubling down on what we know works: targeted digital ads give Democrats a critical advantage,” said Mark Jablonowski, President and CTO of DSPolitical. “This program is about equipping state and local candidates with the same powerful digital tools that top-of-the-ticket campaigns use. These races may not always grab national headlines, but they’re where progress is made.”

Candidates selected for the 2025 program will receive grants ranging from $500 to $10,000 to be used on DSPolitical’s award-winning programmatic platforms. In addition to funding, grantees will gain access to training and strategic guidance from DSPolitical’s expert team.

Applications are open now and will be accepted until Thursday, August 28, at 5 p.m. ET. Selected campaigns will be notified in early September.

With the Governor’s office and entire General Assembly up for grabs in New Jersey, this year’s elections will have major implications for reproductive rights, voting access, climate resilience, and more.

“This program proves what we’ve always believed: when local candidates are given the right resources, they can win in tough places and transform entire communities,” Jablonowski added. “That’s what we’re here to support.”
