Fitzherbert Continues to Gain Support with County Committee

South Jersey’s Harry Hurley reports that Brian Fitzherbert has announced his candidacy in Congressional District 2. Last year, Fitzherbert vied for the GOP nomination in a crowded primary, but was knocked off the ballot after rival Hirsh Singh challenged his petition signature.

Fitzherbert Continues to Gain Support with County Committee


Egg Harbor Township –Brian T. Fitzherbert, who is seeking the Republican nomination in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, announced the endorsement of Hamilton Township Committeewoman Maryetta Borkowski and Absecon Committeeman Greg Seher.

Hamilton Township Committeewoman Maryetta Borkoski voiced her endorsement for Fitzherbert, stating, “Brian’s leadership building the Young Republican organization over the last year was truly impressive. He understands the need to grow and mentor the next generation of Republican leaders. We need a Congressman that will go to D.C and fight for South Jersey with that leadership and relentless energy. That’s why I’m endorsing Brian Fitzherbert for Congress.”

Absecon Committeeman Greg Seher also voiced support saying, “I proudly endorse Brian Fitzherbert for the Republican Nomination in New Jersey’s 2nd District. His background in the defense industry will be a tremendous asset in supporting the National Aviation Research and Technology Park. I’ve seen first-hand his relentless commitment and dedication to the Republican Party and Atlantic County. Furthermore, he has worked hard to establish a strong group of Young Republicans in the County and I know he will continue to work relentlessly as our Congressman to promote South Jersey.”

“Both Committeewoman Borkowski and Committeeman Seher have been instrumental in working with me to build the Atlantic County Young Republicans. They are both dedicated leaders who have promoted conservative values on the County Committee. I’m proud to have their endorsement as we fight to take back the House of Representatives in 2020,” Fitzherbert said.

New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District covers all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties, as well as parts of Gloucester, Ocean, Burlington, and Camden Counties.
