Former Assemblyman And CD2 Candidate Fiocchi Endorses Fitzherbert

Egg Harbor Township – Today, Brian T. Fitzherbert, who is seeking the Republican nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District, announced the endorsement of former Assemblyman and former Freeholder Sam Fiocchi.

“As many in South Jersey know, Brian and I were competitors in the last election for Congress. Over the campaign, we struck up a friendship and I have to say how lucky we are as Republicans to have Brian in the party. He has the conservative ideals, the intelligence, the will, and the energy to win this race,” Fiocchi said.

Fiocchi continued, “There will not be anyone more relentless than Brian in this race. I’m thrilled he is running. Jeff Van Drew was a do-nothing Legislator in Trenton and he’s a do-nothing Congressman in Washington D.C. If there was ever a Republican candidate to defeat Jeff Van Drew, Brian is it. I’m pleased to endorse Brian Fitzherbert for Congress.”

“I’m beyond honored to receive the endorsement of Sam Fiocchi. He is a great friend and devoted public servant in South Jersey. I look forward to working with Sam as we fight to win back the 2nd Congressional District and flip the House of Representatives,” Fitzherbert said.

New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District covers all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties, as well as parts of Gloucester, Ocean, Burlington, and Camden Counties.
