Free Winter Event for Glen Rock Residents

Free Winter Event for Glen Rock Residents

Glen Rock residents: fight the winter blues with a free event from the Borough! On Saturday, February 23rd from 12-4pm the Borough will host their first annual “Wilde Winterfest” at Wilde Memorial Park.  The spotlight of this pilot program is ice skating and to manage Mother Nature’s fickle ways, a synthetic ice surface will be placed in the park’s roller rink. In addition to skating, there will be music and a variety of carnival-type games for participants to enjoy as well as hot chocolate to keep skaters warm.

Skaters of all ages (12 and under must be accompanied by an adult) can register for 45 minutes of ice time at www.grwildewinterfest.eventbrite.com . Residents may bring their own skates or borrow a free pair at the event.  All helmets and protective equipment must be brought from home, and no hockey equipment (other than helmets) is allowed.  Proof of residency will be required at check in.

Space is limited so register now to chill with and enjoy a n-ice time in Glen Rock!
