Gottheimer Holds Roundtable with Asian-American Business Leaders, Healthcare Professionals, and Leaders of the Community

Commemorates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

TEANECK, N.J. — On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) celebrated Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at a roundtable for Asian-American business leaders, healthcare professionals, and leaders of the community at Holy Name Medical Center.

Gottheimer led the roundtable alongside Kyung Hee Choi, Vice President of Holy Name Medical Center’s Asian Health Services, a national leader in providing high-quality, compassionate, culturally sensitive medical care. Other attendees included leaders of the New Jersey Korean American Chamber of Commerce, Hackensack’s Orange Theory Fitness, the Korean American Association, Aoyama French Thai & Japanese, and the Korean Community Center.

“As a country, our diversity is our greatest strength. That is particularly true in my District, where eleven percent of residents are Asian American,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “I was honored to join Asian-American business, healthcare, and community leaders from across North Jersey to discuss lowering taxes, cutting red tape, and improving New Jersey’s crumbling infrastructure.
