Gottheimer Meets with Constituents at 30th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall
HACKENSACK, N.J. – On Sunday, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) met with Fifth District residents at his 30th “Cup of Joe with Josh” Town Hall at a local diner in Hackensack. Gottheimer has met with constituents from across North Jersey at these “Cup of Joe with Josh” events throughout his first term in Congress to hear directly from the people he represents to inform his work in Congress.
In Hackensack, Gottheimer and constituents discussed boosting affordable healthcare and child care options, challenges facing our seniors like protecting Social Security and Medicaid, and supporting innovation for research on diseases like Alzheimer’s.
“I want to thank everyone who came out to voice their thoughts and concerns on Sunday in Hackensack,” said Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5). “Hearing from those I represent is an essential part of my ability to best represent the people in the Fifth District. I will continue to fight for common sense solutions on the issues we discussed including the cost of healthcare and childcare and protecting programs like Social Security and Medicare for our seniors. I will take these concerns with me to inform my work in Washington for the Fifth District.”
