Greenwald and Lampitt Statement on Assembly Primary Victory

Assembly members win contested primary with a massive, nearly 75% of the vote.

(Camden-Burlington) – Following Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald and Assemblywoman Pam Lampitt’s enormous primary election victory, they released the following joint statement:

We are deeply grateful that Democrats in the 6th Legislative District put their trust and confidence in us to lead the democratic ticket. As progressive champions for the 6th Legislative District we have been on the front lines fighting for working and middle-class families by voting to provide free community college, expanding paid sick leave for working families, and protecting the Affordable Care Act here in New Jersey. While the election is over, our mission to make Camden and Burlington Counties a better places to live and raise a family, is not over. Our job now is to come together, set aside our differences and listen to one another – not to debate, but to unite around our shared values and ideals.
