HBA Adopts 50+ Pet Waste Stations

The Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) just announced that they will be adopting more than 50 pet waste stations to install west of Washington Street to help further the City’s efforts in promoting clean streets in the City of Hoboken. This will more than double the amount of pet waste stations currently placed around Hoboken and the HBA will be responsible for keeping the stations stocked with pet waste bags.
“Pet waste has been an issue that is the responsibility of the pet owner but if not picked up, is the responsibility of the property owner who maintains the sidewalk, and unfortunately, usually it ends up on the bottom of someone’s shoe,” said Greg Dell’Aquila, President of the Hoboken Business Alliance. “The HBA is committed to supporting all of our commercial property owners on and off Washington Street and this is one of the many ways we are doing it. Here’s to a cleaner, safer, and more beautiful Hoboken.”
Hoboken currently has 30+ pet waste bag dispensers and the new stations will be installed in the coming weeks. There are more than 500 public waste cans around the City to properly dispose of the pet waste bags.
