Highland Park Community Leaders Endorse Brill Mittler for Mayor, George & Hale for Council

5/30/19; Highland Park, NJ – – In a letter to voters, prominent community leaders, which
include former mayor Ambassador Meryl Frank, former Boro Councilman Matt Hersh, and
Karen Kanter, chairwoman of the Middlesex County Brady Campaign to End Gun Violence,
announced their support for Mayor Gayle Brill Mittler as well as Councilmen Phil George
and Matt Hale for their re-election.

Writing, “This borough is the strongest when it stands united, when we raise each
other up and build on progress, together,” all forty-two prominent community leaders
endorsed all three candidates and urged every Highland Park Democrat to vote the official
Democratic ticket on Column B on June 4th, the date of the primary election.
