Hoboken University Medical Center to Hold Transgender Flag Raising as part of Transgender Awareness Week
WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 13th, 2018, 1p.m.
WHAT: As part of national Transgender Awareness Week, Hoboken University Medical
Center and Hudson Pride Center will be holding a transgender flag raising at the hospital. Earlier this year, CarePoint Health partnered with Hudson Pride Center to expand healthcare services for the LGBTQ+ community, including specific services for the transgender community. Physicians and staff from the healthcare system participated in a Trans Youth Summer Camp program organized through Hudson Pride and physicians and staff have undergone training to better serve the transgender community.
