Hugin Press Secretary Nick Iacovella issued the following statement:
“While New Jersey’s affordability crisis continues to drive people and jobs out of the state, corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez shamefully continues to hike taxes again and again. On top of that, he failed to address the new SALT cap that is unfairly targeting New Jersey. There’s a reason why every single candidate running for federal office is talking about the SALT cap: Menendez failed to act. Instead of fighting for the people of New Jersey, Menendez was fighting to stay out of jail in a federal courtroom. New Jersey is dead last ─ 50 out 50 ─ in money the state gets back from Washington. It’s time for change. It’s time to elect an independent leader who will put the people of New Jersey first.”
Bob Hugin, a Marine Corps Veteran and business leader who has created thousands of New Jersey jobs, is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator Bob Menendez. For more information visit bobhugin.com.
