HUGIN EXTENDS INVITATION TO NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATS

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — Nearly 40 percent of Democratic primary voters rejected career, corrupt politician Bob Menendez in last night’s primary election. The Hugin campaign released the following statement to the hundreds of thousands of Democratic voters who are seeking anyone but Bob Menendez in November.

“Last night’s results were a clear rejection of corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez.  An unknown challenger with no money got nearly 40% of the Democratic vote and won six of the state’s 21 counties against a two-term incumbent.  That is unheard of. The bottom line: Tens of thousands of Democrats chose to support anyone but Bob Menendez. Our campaign extends a warm invitation to those voters to support Bob Hugin, who will be an independent voice for New Jersey and work across party lines to get things done for our state,” said Hugin Communications Director Megan Piwowar.

Bob Hugin, a Marine Corps Veteran and business leader who has created thousands of New Jersey jobs, is seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate to challenge incumbent Democrat Senator Bob Menendez.
