STATE OF OUR INFRASTRUCTURE IS PATHETIC

New Jersey Seventh Congressional District candidate Goutam Jois issued the following statement in response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address:

“The state of our infrastructure is pathetic. I was glad to hear the President turn his attention to fixing our crumbling infrastructure, but the devil is in the details. One year into his administration, we’ve heard a lot about his $25 billion wall, but no commitment to the most important transportation project in the country – the $13 billion Gateway tunnel in his own backyard. Instead of the investments we need in transportation and broadband access – so we can get to work on time, get online, and attract businesses to district – we got higher taxes to give huge tax cuts to billionaires. The voters of the 7th District won’t forget that in November.”
