Latina Civic PAC to Host 2025 Annual Celebration Recognizing Leaders Advancing Latina Political Power  

Trenton, NJ – Latina Civic PAC is pleased to announce its 2025 Annual Celebration, taking place on Monday, 1 December, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rutgers Club, 85 Avenue E, Piscataway, New Jersey.

This annual event brings together leaders, advocates, and allies committed to advancing the civic and political participation of Latinas throughout New Jersey. Latina Civic PAC will honor four distinguished individuals whose leadership, advocacy, and service have made a meaningful impact and lasting impact on Latina representation in elected and appointed office and, as a result, our communities and the state.

2025 Honorees

  • Latina Pioneer Award: Deana Gunn, Laborers' International Union of North America (LiUNA)

  • Comadre Award: Alex Ball, Campaign Manager, Mikie Sherrill for Governor

  • Compadre Award: LeRoy Jones, Chair, New Jersey Democratic State Committee & Essex County Democratic Chairman

  • Latina Rising Star Award: Vereliz Santana, Director of the Latino Base Vote, New Jersey Victory and Newark Board of Education Co-Vice Chair
