Latino Caucus Supports Expansion of NJFamilyCare Enrollment Regardless of Immigration Status

Trenton – In response to the recently implemented health care expansion under the Cover All Kids initiative whereby eligible children can be enrolled regardless of immigration status, the Legislative Latino Caucus issued the following statement:

“All children living in New Jersey should have access to quality and affordable health coverage, regardless of their family situation, or their immigration status. The expansion of coverage under the Cover All Kids initiative will be a life-saver for thousands of New Jersey families, and will help ease the anxiety that many parents and guardians may be experiencing when it comes to seeking medical treatment for the children under their care.

“We thank the Governor, Legislative Leadership and Members, the Department of Human Services, and partners across the state, for the work done, and to be done, to ensure this information is disseminated to all communities who will benefit.”
