LD11 Legislators Announce District 11 Economic Recovery Advisory Council

Gopal
Dear Friend,

It’s time to put New Jersey on the track to re-opening and recovery. To that end, we’re forming an official new Coronavirus Economic Recovery Advisory Council for our 11th Legislative District to provide insight, expertise, and on-the-ground knowledge as we work to open our shuttered state.

We want to make sure every voice is heard as we set ourselves on the path to recovery, which is why we’ve worked hard to bring together people from a diverse array of industries, businesses, and communities. These local small business owners, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations are already working hard to help families throughout our Monmouth County community get through this crisis. We need their expertise and insight, and they deserve to have a seat at the table as we work toward a statewide re-opening.

Our District 11 Economic Recovery Advisory Council will work to assist different industries in re-opening, making recommendations regarding policy, and working with all sectors of our economy to make sure that each sector opens in a responsible way. We expect this Council to continue operating until all sectors of our local economy are fully operational.

As we work to establish a statewide contact tracing plan, help non-essential businesses and beaches re-open, and allow restuarants to begin serving customers once more, there’s no doubting that we’ll need all hands on deck. It’s our hope that this committee will help play a vital role in allowing Main Streets throughout our 11th Legislative District to begin returning to normal once more.
