Local Expert to Speak on Climate Change.

Hillsborough resident Nadine Kadell Sapirman, Climate Reality presenter and co-leader of the Raritan Valley Citizens’ Climate Lobby Chapter will present an update on newly-introduced federal carbon pricing legislation: the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. Local Congressional Representative, Tom Malinowski is a co-sponsor of this bill, HR763. There will be time for questions and a discussion about climate change, climate policy and local actionable environmental issues. The evening is hosted by the Hillsborough Democratic Alliance, a club dedicated to bringing forth issues to our community. Wednesday, May 1, 7pm-8:30pm at Avalon Assisted Living, 393 Amwell Road in Hillsborough, NJ.
