(Montville,NJ) As Joe Pennacchio gets more and more desperate in the closing weeks of the state Senate Republican Primary campaign against Tom Mastrangelo, his lies and distortions are mounting, says the Mastrangelo campaign.

“In his latest communication with voters, we caught Pennacchio lying again to people about his efforts to stop the woke school sex-education curriculum that is infecting our state’s schools and is totally inappropriate for our children,” said Mastrangelo.

“Mr. Pennacchio would have voters believe a fairy tale about him leading the charge against the leftist school curriculum when. in fact, he’s done nothing to stop the new sex ed curriculum in our schools. Nothing,” said Mastrangelo, a five term Morris County Commissioner (formerly Freeholder.)

“All Joe Pennacchio has done to protect our school children is to send out a press release. The liberal Democrat sex curriculum is going through, it is happening on his watch and Pennacchio has not done a thing to stop it and he never will. He failed.” said Mastrangelo.

“When it comes to dishing out disinformation, Joe Pennacchio is right up there with the Washington Post and New York Times,” added Mastrangelo.

Pennacchio’s disinformation is so bad that he is lying about Mastrangelo’s record against the woke school sex education curriculum while a Morris County Commissioner.

“The fact is I worked hard to bring a resolution to the full Board of Commissioners unequivocally stating that the far left’s sex education curriculum promoting various sex acts does not belong in our schools and that our parents have a right to reject woke propaganda for their children,” said Mastrangelo.

Mastrangelo worked with a parent, Nikki Lois of the Moms For Liberty group to express their collective outrage against the state’s new sex education curriculum.

“In June 2022, we reached out to Morris County Commissioners, asking to introduce a resolution to support parental rights and protect our children from the woke indoctrination of the sex education curriculum standards that plague our schools.” said Lois.
“Tom was instrumental in passing this resolution. He responded directly to us and saw our resolution through to full adoption by the Board of County Commissioners. As the Chair for Moms for Liberty in Morris County, I would like to thank Tom for his steadfast support of parental rights.” added Lois.

“After 23 years in the statehouse, Joe Pennacchio is getting desperate to hold on to his job and he is willfully misrepresenting the truth in order to get people to give him another term – a term he does not deserve,” said Mastrangelo.
