Matteson named Executive Director of Sussex Dems
SPARTA – Last night, at a meeting of the Sussex County Executive Board Kate Matteson was unanimously chosen to be the Executive Director of the Sussex County Democratic Committee.
“I am excited and honored to be chosen to help lead the Sussex Dems into 2018,” Matteson said. “During my campaign for Assembly I met thousands of Sussex residents that want to see new leadership at all levels of government. Working together we can increase our presence from Andover to Wantage and bring more effective counci lpeople, freeholders and constitutional officers to the residents of Sussex County.”
Chairwoman Leslie Huhn welcomed Kate Matteson, “I know that Kate will work tirelessly for our candidates on the ballot in 2018,” Huhn stated. “Watching her run for Assembly and, despite vicious attacks from her opponents, keep her poise and professionalism was incredibly impressive. We have a Congressman to re-elect, Josh Gottheimer, and a congressman to defeat, Rodney Frelinghuysen, and I know Kate is ready for the task.”
