“This election was about Fanwood residents voting to keep our values and leaders local.

This campaign was hope, personified. The election results showed us–when we chose to fight for eachother in Fanwood, we can win.

And tonight, we did just that.

Leadership looks like all of you in this room: our committee men and women, our dedicated public servants, and the Fanwood voters who came out in historic numbers for a Primary Election.

This is proof of what we, the residents of Fanwood, are capable of–and none of us should forget this feeling.

I am so proud of Team Mahr.”
