Proven public affairs professional promoted to partner

TRENTON, NJ – OCTOBER 2, 2018 – Today, MBI GluckShaw announced that Lisa Ginther has been promoted to partner of the firm.  Ginther is a 15 year veteran of the firm and proven public affairs professional with expertise in legislative affairs, public outreach/involvement and association management.

“On the heels of naming Michele Jaker and Danielle Alexander partners of the firm over the past two weeks, it is my pleasure to name Lisa Ginther as MBI GluckShaw’s newest partner,” said Raul “Rudy” Garcia, president, MBI-GluckShaw.  “Over the last fifteen years Lisa’s commitment to this firm and, more importantly our clients, has been unwavering.  Lisa has been able to balance multiple aspects of the firms practice and has managed to excel in each.  Whether it’s representing a client before the legislature, designing and implementing complex public outreach/public involvement programs for critical capital projects or serving as executive director of large associations, Lisa is as good as it gets.  We enthusiastically welcome Lisa Ginther as our newest partner.”

Prior to joining the firm, Ginther worked for the NJ Governor’s Office where she handled recruitment efforts to fill full time positions in state government and was responsible for appointments to boards and commissions.  Prior to that, she worked at the New Jersey Department of Transportation for the Assistant Commissioner of Finance & Administration handling confidential budget, personnel and travel accounts.

Ginther is an experienced community outreach professional and throughout her tenure has developed a specialized public outreach/involvement practice on major capital projects.  Ginther works directly with the contractors in the field and serves as the lead on disseminating public information and developing community bulletins and press releases.  Ginther has lead multiple large capital construction projects from final design through construction organizing and managing public information centers and alternative public outreach events.

Ginther also serves as the executive director of a professional organization representing managers working in State Government as well as the Membership Director of IBEW Local 30.  Ginther was involved from the inception of Local 30, the first labor union in history to represent managers working throughout NJ departments of state.  She also manages legislative affairs for the Stronger United Independent Labor Council on behalf of managers and retired managers.

“I am very appreciative to the new leadership of MBI GluckShaw for this vote of confidence and proud to be a part of firm that has named three female partners in three short weeks,” said Lisa Ginther, partner, MBI GluckShaw.  “Actions speak louder than words and what we have seen from the new management team is action.  I am very bullish about the future of the firm, am fortunate to work with such a great group of professionals and look forward to doing my part to take this firm to the next level.”
