Menendez, Booker Announce Over $8.4M in Federal Funding to Upgrade NJ Airports
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker today announced Atlantic City International Airport and Ocean County Airport will receive a combined total of $8,400,000 in federal funding from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to make necessary repairs and improvements.
“New Jersey’s airports are vital to our nation’s transportation system and are an economic driver in our state,”said Sen. Menendez. “Investing in our aging infrastructure keeps our families safe, creates good jobs, and allows travel to continue running smoothly.”

· Atlantic City International Airport – $8,000,000
o To construct a de-icing facility
· Ocean County Airport – $400,000
o To replace the airport’s current beacon
Atlantic City International Airport is located in Atlantic County and offers commercial air travel to support tourism and commerce. Ocean County Airport, located in Bayville, services general aviation and emergency services aircraft.
